About Us:

We're seeking an experienced Head of Design Engineering/Design Engineering Manager to lead our design team and drive innovation in product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of design engineers to achieve departmental goals and objectives

  • Develop and implement design strategies, standards, and best practices

  • Oversee the design and development of new products and manufacturing processes

  • Ensure compliance with design codes, standards, and regulations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project objectives and timelines

  • Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence

  • Mentor and develop design engineers to improve skills and knowledge

  • Review and approve designs, providing feedback and guidance as needed

  • Manage the design department budget and resources

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, )

  • Proven experience in design engineering leadership, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment

  • Strong knowledge of design principles, codes, and standards

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
