Position Overview

We are looking for an
experienced and creative Senior Design Engineer
with strong expertise in
AutoCAD and SolidWorks
, and an in-depth understanding of
sheet metal and heavy fabrication design
. The selected candidate will lead the
complete product development cycle
— from concept to production — ensuring designs that are
innovative, manufacturable, and high in quality
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    end-to-end product design
    and R&D projects for physical security and automation systems.
  • Create detailed
    3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
    using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Design and optimize
    sheet metal structures
    ,
    heavy fabrication assemblies
    , and
    enclosure systems
    for manufacturability.
  • Coordinate with
    Production, Electrical, and Procurement teams
    to ensure seamless design-to-manufacturing transitions.
  • Conduct
    material selection, tolerance analysis, and design validation
    to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Develop
    BOMs (Bill of Materials)
    and fabrication drawings, and maintain revision-controlled documentation.
  • Support
    prototyping, testing, and continuous product improvement
    based on feedback and performance results.
  • Ensure all designs meet
    cost, quality, and safety standards
    as per company and industry norms.
  • Research and implement
    new materials, mechanisms, and manufacturing methods
    to enhance innovation and efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 5 years in
    R&D or product design
    in
    sheet metal / heavy fabrication / automation
    industries.
  • Software Proficiency:
    SolidWorks (Mandatory), AutoCAD (Mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of
    sheet metal design
    ,
    fabrication
    ,
    welding
    ,
    bending
    , and
    laser cutting
    processes.
  • Good knowledge of
    mechanical mechanisms, drive systems, and motor integration
    (BLDC, servo, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent
    problem-solving
    ,
    detailing
    , and
    documentation
    abilities.
  • Capability to
    manage multiple design projects independently
    .
