Role Overview:
The Portfolio Lead will be responsible for driving credit card sales through branch channels, managing product performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading a team to achieve organizational goals. This role involves strategizing, implementing, and monitoring initiatives to enhance portfolio growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement branch-based credit card sales strategies to achieve acquisition and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with branch leadership to drive penetration and activation of credit cards.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics such as spend, activation, attrition, and delinquency.
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell within existing customer base.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of sales and product specialists to deliver on portfolio objectives.
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, internal compliance standards, and industry regulations.
- Implement robust processes to mitigate operational and credit risks.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate implications to stakeholders.
Product & Process Enhancement:
- Work closely with product development and operations teams to improve customer experience.
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to refine product offerings.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of credit card products, retail banking, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret portfolio data and derive insights.
- Track record in driving sales through branch channels.
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 812 years of experience in credit card product management or branch banking sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Performance Metrics:
- Credit card acquisition numbers through branches.
- Activation and spend ratios.
- Portfolio profitability and risk indicators.
- Team productivity and engagement scores.
- Compliance adherence and audit ratings
