Purpose of Role

The Van Helper / Ayah is responsible for assisting students and staff during school/organization van operations. The role ensures the safety, comfort, and discipline of passengers while also supporting the driver in smooth vehicle functioning.

CSA Van Housekeeping Staff - Key Responsibilities

• Assist children/passengers in safely boarding and alighting from the van.
• Ensure that all passengers are seated properly and maintain discipline during travel.
• Support younger children with bags, water bottles, or belongings.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene inside the van daily.
• Accompany students until they are handed over to the designated guardian/teacher.
• Assist the driver in checking attendance of passengers, if required.
• Report any issues, concerns, or incidents during travel to the concerned authority.
• Provide basic care and attention to children (especially younger students) during the journey.
