Chef: Mediterranean Cuisine

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Mediterranean flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques, with the creativity to develop authentic and contemporary dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of Mediterranean dishes including Greek, Lebanese, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, Moroccan or regional specialties.
- Design and update menus with a balance of traditional and modern Mediterranean dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation for all meals served.
- Select, source, and inspect high-quality ingredients; focus on fresh and healthy produce.
- Supervise day-to-day kitchen operations including food preparation and line management.
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in compliance with HACCP.
- Monitor inventory, control food cost, and minimize wastage.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff.
- Coordinate with F&B, service team, and management to enhance guest dining experience.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and introduce innovative Mediterranean concepts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a restaurant, hotel, or luxury resort specializing in Mediterranean cuisine.
- Strong expertise in grilling, mezze, seafood, breads, salads, and sauces relevant to Mediterranean cooking.
- Passion for authentic flavors and artistic presentation.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of nutritional requirements and healthy cooking techniques preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40, ₹70,000.00 per month
