Key Responsibilities for Accountant:

1) Raise E-Invoice for sales based on department Running account bill.

2) Create an E-way bill for movement of goods.

3) Conduct ledger scrutiny to ensure compliance with GST provisions.

4) File monthly GSTR 1, GSTR 3B and Annual returns.

5) Prepare 2B reconciliation by consolidating all branch tally data.

6) Provide data for GST notices, appeals and queries.

7) Reconciliation of GST returns data with books of accounts.

8) Pass necessary entries in tally for Sales, GST output and GST Input.

9) Manage books of accounts for partnership firms and AOPs within the group

Key Responsibilities for Asst Manager:

1) Review GST returns filed for multiple states of all Group entities

2) Prepare GSTR 2B reconciliation by consolidating all branch data in Tally and performing state wise reconciliation. Share the reconciling items with the procurement team and project accounting team, follow up with them until they are rectified.

3) Ensure compliance with GST provisions such as E-invoicing, RCM liability, Ineligible Input tax credit, ITC reversal for non payment, GST on advance, GST TDS Refund application, Monthly return filing and Annual return filing.

4) Follow up with the procurement team and accounting team to ensure our suppliers/contractors file GST returns on time.

5) Check status to GSTIN for our Suppliers/contractors and inform the procurement team and project accounts team the list of inactive vendors shall be communicated.

6) Respond to GST notices, provide data for GST audit by the department, coordinate with the GST consultants for providing data and closing old cases, track appeals, hearings and ensure timely response.

7) Perform ledger scrutiny to ensure proper data maintenance in tally for easing GST return filing, and ensure compliance with GST provisions.

8) Prepare statewise financial statements for the purpose of GST audit.

Qualification:

CMA Inter, CA Inter, B.com, GST certification, GST Practitioner.

Requirements:

Experience in Tally and GST returns, reconciliation, provisions, laws, returns and notices for 2 to 6 years

Must be from construction industry or related industry

Should be residing in Chennai
