Purpose of the role

·      Oversee and manage the company's day to day accounts operations, ensuring efficient and effective accounts management.

·      Ensure financial compliance with accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities
:

Accounting and Reporting:

  • Supervise and maintain the books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Lead the finalization of accounts, including the preparation of the Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and journal entries.

Cash Flow and Receivables
:

  • Manage daily cash flow and plan for periodic scheduled payments.
  • Coordinate with clients for payments receivable.
  • Highlight issues/challenges regarding accounts receivable, payment planning, and task prioritization.
  • Manage vendor credit cycles and payouts.

Compliance and Audit
:

  • Monitor compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist auditors in preparing and filing GST and TDS returns, and ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.

Management and Coordination
:

  • Provide MIS reports to management for decision-making.
  • Give a daily update to management on any exceptions with the Accounts and Finance tasks.
  • Perform inter-department and client coordination to resolve any issues about accounts and taxation.
  • Perform case evaluation and assessment.
  • Do sales quotation validations.
  • Develop standard daily accounting processes to streamline all accounting activities.

Qualification & Experience
:

·      B.Com / M.Com/ Inter CA

·      Minimum 4-5 years of experience in day to day Accounting, Tax and fianancial operations, preferably atleast 1 year in the security/facility sector.

Role specific Technical Skills:

·      Expert in managing Tally ERP software

·      Knowledget of
Indian Accounting Standards

and
taxation laws

(GST, TDS, Income Tax etc.)

·      Proficiency in advanced Excel and prefer knowledge of PowerPoint presentations.

Competencies & Soft Skills:

·      Strong attention to detail

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·      Self-motivated and proactive approach.

·      The ability to manage work both independently and collaboratively within a team while maintaining

strong adherence to timelines. 

·      Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
