Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Head to lead our accounting department. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting principles, taxation, audits, and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience in overall financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage taxation matters — GST, TDS, and Income Tax filings.
  • Handle statutory and internal audits, and coordinate with auditors.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Supervise and guide the accounts team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage vendor payments, invoicing, and expense tracking.
  • Review MIS reports and provide financial analysis for management decision-making.
  • Liaise with banks, vendors, and other external agencies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP or other accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Good communication and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.Com / MBA (Finance)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance
