Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Privacy & Compliance Regulatory Expert located in Gurugram. The role involves developing and implementing data privacy frameworks, ensuring compliance with global regulations, and advising clients on data protection strategies. The expert will conduct regular assessments of compliance risks, lead data protection impact assessments, and oversee the integration of privacy and compliance protocols into technical operations and business workflows. Collaboration with legal, technical, and operational teams to address complex regulatory challenges is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

  • Data Analysis, Data Analytics, and Analytical Skills
  • Experience in Data Management and Data Modeling
  • Strong understanding of global data protection and compliance regulations such as GDPR, DPDP Act, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
  • Proven ability to conduct compliance audits, data privacy assessments, and data breach response
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in tech, legal, and compliance sectors
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM are a plus
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Law, Data Science, or a related field is preferred
