Responsibilities

  • Quality management system: Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System, including adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Inspections and audits: Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections of sheet metal components and products. Conduct and coordinate internal and external quality audits.
  • Team leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train a team of quality control inspectors and technicians to ensure quality procedures are followed.
  • Problem-solving: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for all quality issues, including customer complaints. Use problem-solving tools like the 8D methodology.
  • Supplier quality: Manage supplier quality assurance by conducting audits, evaluating performance, and ensuring timely resolution of supplier-related issues.
  • Documentation and reporting: Prepare and manage quality-related documentation such as control plans, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and performance reports. Compile data for dashboards, including Parts Per Million (PPM) and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
  • Customer liaison: Address customer complaints and liaise with clients regarding quality concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous improvement: Promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing quality tools like Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, and the 7 QC Tools.
  • Documentation:Develop, implement, and maintain quality documentation, including quality control policies, test plans, and defect tracking records.
  • Quality Oversight:Oversee all quality assurance activities for sheet metal parts and ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality requirements.
  • Process & Product Control:Conduct regular audits, inspections, and tests of manufacturing processes and finished sheet metal products to ensure quality.
  • Data Analysis:Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹450, ₹550,000.00 per year
