Job Description – Operations Manager for Academic Experts

Reporting To: AVP – Sales

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview:

The AE Manager will be responsible for managing the Academic Expert team operations across multiple

categories (North Vocals, South Vocals, Western Vocals, Keyboard, Guitar). This role ensures smooth

demo Conducts, optimal AE performance, quality delivery, and alignment of the AE team's output with

Sales Targets.

What You'll Do

  1. Team Management & Operations

  2. Manage day-to-day operations of all Academic Experts across categories

  3. Oversee scheduling, leave planning, and resource allocation to ensure maximum demo coverage

  4. Performance & Quality Oversight

  5. Track individual and team performance on key metrics: demo attendance %, QA scores,

conversion impact

  • Conduct weekly/ monthly reviews with Team Leads & AEs

  • Ensure adherence to demo guidelines and quality standards

  • Stakeholder Alignment

  • Act as the bridge between AE team and Sales team for smooth lead handover

  • Share insights and data with AVP Sales on AE performance and pipeline health

  • Coaching & Development

  • Mentor Team Leads and provide guidance to AEs on performance improvement

  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training interventions

  • Engagement & Motivation

  • Drive weekly AE huddles and monthly recognition programs

  • Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Celebrate wins and motivate AEs to deliver high-quality demos

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Music Management, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in team management (preferably in EdTech, Sales Operations, or Customer

Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance reporting
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a diverse team
  • Comfortable working with data dashboards and CRM tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹55,000.00 per month
