Job Description
The Functional Consultant will be mainly responsible for providing application Green field Implementation, new add-on implementation and enhancements for Maximo Application Suite, working alone or a part of the Maximo team. This is a full-time role. He will be responsible for understanding client needs and recommending solutions based on those needs. He will be expected to lead design sessions, document your proposed solutions, and participate in system testing to ensure the delivery of a quality solution. While this role is primarily functional, it requires application knowledge of MAS 8.0/9.0 to ensure the feasibility of recommended solutions and to successfully interact with the technical team.
Asset Management product experience and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role. He must be comfortable leading design workshops and writing high-quality documents.
Responsibilities:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in the IT industry
- At least years of experience in working with Asset management solutions like IBM Maximo /IBM MAS latest version
- Must have completed at least two (2) end to end project implementation of EAM solution in Maximo
- Hands-on experience in the implementation of Maximo is preferred.
- IBM MAS 8 / 9 certification is Mandatory.
· Knowledge in MAS Manage and interface knowledge in external system like GIS,ERP,BIM,SCADA and DMS systems.
· Preferred for Technical knowledge in Java, xml and SQL.
· Good knowledge of asset management process and practice in asset-intensive industries like ,Rail and Metro etc.,
- Good presentation skills, Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities
- Executes requirement discovery workshops and documents requirements gaps.
- Understands client's business processes and how they map to the predefined IBM MAS
- Collaborates with Technical Consultants and Analysts to ensure the deliverables and schedules are achieved.
- Develops long term relationships with clients through interpreting and managing their requirements.
- Design MAS solutions for work, asset, and inventory management tailored to client needs.
- Validate technical solutions to ensure completeness before client delivery.
- Ability to conduct internal functional testing and user acceptance testing with customers.
- Assist in developing training materials and conduct training sessions.
Provide application support for business end users.
