An Accounts In-Charge's primary responsibilities include managing daily accounting operations, overseeing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance, and processing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. They also manage budgets, conduct internal audits, and reconcile financial reports to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: Supervise and perform tasks such as general ledger entries, reconciliations, and the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (such as balance sheets and income statements).
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax laws, accounting regulations (like GAAP or IFRS), and other legal requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to guide strategic decisions.
  • Auditing: Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure financial transparency and accuracy.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and source documents.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial documents, reports, and transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend strategies to management for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.
