Role Description

We are seeking a
Managed Security Operations Engineer
with strong technical knowledge in Microsoft 365 products and enterprise security operations. This role involves working closely with customers, supporting and deploying security solutions, handling endpoint and cloud device management, and contributing to SOC and Incident Response processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver
    end-to-end security operations support
    for Microsoft 365 products.
  • Manage, configure, and support:
  • Microsoft Defender stack
    – Defender for Endpoints, Servers, Identity (MDI), Office 365 (MDO), Cloud Apps (MCAS).
  • Microsoft Purview Stack
    (Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, Insider Risk, Compliance).
  • Intune & Entra ID (Azure AD)
    – device, identity, and access management.
  • SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams administration
    tasks.
  • Perform
    device onboarding and offboarding
    to cloud security platforms (MDE, Intune).
  • Support
    policy creation, deployment, troubleshooting, and compliance enforcement
    .
  • Execute
    Vulnerability Management
    processes – scanning, analysis, and remediation coordination.
  • Work in
    SOC environments
    – monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and provide detailed reporting.
  • Participate in
    Incident Response (IR)
    – containment, eradication, and lessons learned.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Strong technical knowledge of
    Microsoft 365 Security and Administration
    .
  • Proven expertise with
    Defender stack, Purview, Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
    .
  • Experience in:
  • Policy design, deployment, and support
  • Device lifecycle management (onboarding/offboarding to cloud)
  • Vulnerability Management practices
  • SOC operations & Incident Response handling
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Direct customer-facing experience
    with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience
    in Security Operations, Endpoint/Cloud Security, or Microsoft 365 Security.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance solutions
    (Defender stack, Purview, Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Experience with
    device lifecycle management
    (onboarding/offboarding endpoints to cloud platforms such as MDE, Intune).
  • Familiarity with
    Vulnerability Management, SOC operations, and Incident Response (IR)
    .
  • Good understanding of
    Cloud Security concepts
    (Azure / M365) and Identity & Access Management.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    with ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Excellent
    communication and teamwork skills
    , with proven
    customer-facing experience
    .
  • Relevant certifications are a plus:
    Microsoft SC-200, MS-500, AZ-500
    , or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
    .
  • Prior
    cybersecurity industry experience
    (internship or full-time) is beneficial.
