Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based cybersecurity applications and security modules for connected vehicles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Embedded, Cloud, Architecture, and Testing) to define security architecture and requirements.
  • Implement secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and perform static/dynamic vulnerability analysis.
  • Integrate threat detection, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms into software solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with global cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 21434, NIST, AUTOSAR, and GDPR.
  • Develop automated CI/CD pipelines with integrated security testing for continuous deployment.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security vulnerabilities and incidents across vehicle and cloud ecosystems.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and threat models.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cybersecurity best practice guidelines across SDVC projects.

Required Technical Skill Set:

Programming Languages:

Python, Java, C++, Go, or Rust

AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Cybersecurity Tools & Frameworks:

SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, PKI, TLS/SSL, OWASP, CVE tracking

Backend Frameworks:

Spring Boot, Flask, or

DevOps & Infrastructure:

Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD

Databases:

PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

Security Protocols:

OAuth2, SAML, JWT, TLS, Mutual TLS

Vulnerability Management:

Static & Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST), Penetration Testing

Preferred Additional Expertise:

  • Key Management & Rotation:

    Experience designing secure key lifecycle management (generation, distribution, rotation, revocation).
  • SecOC (Secure Onboard Communication):

    Hands-on experience implementing SecOC modules for AUTOSAR-based systems and secure in-vehicle communication.
  • Binary Signing & Verification:

    Experience with secure software update mechanisms, binary signing, certificate management, and secure boot.
  • Cryptographic Protocols & HSM Integration:

    Deep understanding of symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, and hardware security modules.
