Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned
PMO Delivery Lead
to join our Global Banking Technology and Operations team. This role is critical in driving large-scale delivery programs across cards, payments, accounts, and mobile banking within a global bank environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in global delivery frameworks, PMO governance, and digital transformation within banking. You will serve as the central point of coordination, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery while aligning with global business and technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex initiatives across global banking domains including cards, payments, accounts, and mobile banking.

  • Define delivery roadmaps, set milestones, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Establish delivery frameworks and governance models tailored for multi-country and cross-functional teams.

  • PMO Governance & Reporting

  • Oversee program management office (PMO) functions such as planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and issue resolution.

  • Develop and maintain robust reporting dashboards to provide senior stakeholders with visibility into program health.

  • Drive standardization of processes and best practices across global delivery.

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with senior leaders, business sponsors, product managers, and technology heads to align delivery objectives with business priorities.

  • Act as a key liaison between cross-functional teams across regions to ensure smooth communication and delivery alignment.

  • Provide clear, structured updates to executive leadership on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

  • Agile Tools & Methodologies

  • Champion the use of Jira and Confluence for backlog management, sprint planning, release tracking, and knowledge sharing.

  • Promote agile best practices to enhance delivery speed, collaboration, and transparency across distributed teams.

  • Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with global bank policies, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, driving timely mitigation strategies.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement across teams by leveraging delivery metrics, retrospectives, and lessons learned.

  • Drive process automation and adoption of new delivery technologies to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in program/project management and delivery leadership within global banking or financial services.
  • Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience in cards, payments, accounts, and mobile banking delivery programs.
  • Technical Tools: Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for program governance and delivery reporting.
  • Delivery Experience: Proven track record in managing multi-region/global delivery programs with distributed teams.
  • Stakeholder Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Methodologies: Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery models within financial services.
