Job description:

The Placement Officer will be responsible for creating and managing employment opportunities for trained candidates from the Skilling LRC. The role involves building strong industry linkages, coordinating with employers, preparing candidates for interviews, and ensuring successful placement and post-placement support.

  • Employer Engagement & Industry Linkages
  • Identify and build partnerships with companies, organizations, and recruiters to generate placement opportunities.
  • Maintain a database of potential employers across sectors relevant to the training programs.
  • Regularly interact with industry representatives to understand hiring trends and job requirements.
  • Placement Coordination
  • Organize campus interviews, job drives, and career fairs for candidates.
  • Share candidate profiles with employers and coordinate the recruitment process.
  • Ensure timely communication between candidates, trainers, and employers regarding placement schedules.
  • Candidate Preparation
  • Conduct pre-placement training sessions (resume building, interview skills, workplace etiquette, etc.).
  • Tracking & Reporting
  • Maintain records of placed and non-placed candidates.
  • Networking & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with trainers and mobilizers to align training with industry requirements.
  • Liaise with alumni and employer networks for referrals and future opportunities.
  • Build strong rapport with local industry bodies, chambers of commerce, and placement agencies.
  • Generate monthly/quarterly placement reports and share updates with management.
  • Track post-placement retention and provide support to reduce attrition.
  • Guide candidates in understanding job roles, expectations, and career pathways.
  • Motivate and counsel candidates for successful employment and career growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
