About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Foundry Manager to lead laboratory and receiving inspection operations. The role involves monitoring and maintaining metallurgical lab functions, driving supplier process development, implementing new technologies, and ensuring accurate, reliable testing outcomes. This position requires close interaction with customers, handling audits/complaints, and contributing to new product development with a focus on metallurgical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all laboratory operations including raw material inspection, spectrometer analysis, and microstructure evaluation.

Drive supplier development and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Implement reliable testing systems and adopt new metallurgical technologies.

Support new product development projects and manage PPAP documentation.

Ensure accuracy of results through internal checks and NABL lab validation.

Manage manpower planning, training, and workload distribution.

Lead process, quality, and customer audits; ensure IATF 16949 compliance.

Collaborate with suppliers and purchase teams on raw material quality.

Promote zero-accident culture and implement 5S best practices.

Industry Background
