Overview

Strategically design Test processes and lead development of Manufacturing Test solutions and

applications involving electro mechanical Hardware and Software code development. Primary role is to

design and develop solutions using latest tools and technologies to create most efficient and optimized

manufacturing processes. This role requires innovative mindset to create new and different to influence

and provide direction to leadership teams to adopt new manufacturing technologies positively

impacting Zebra business. This position offers future advancements to the right candidate into

leadership roles in Technical operations arm of Supply chain to lead, develop, automate, optimize and

innovate Manufacturing Test strategies & solutions, for wide range of Zebra offered products and

solutions.

Responsibilities


• Lead designing and architecting Test Strategies and solutions along with their execution with

other team members.

• Co-develop, strategize and lead projects in manufacturing space to create low cost, highly

efficient and sustainable processes within Zebra adopted framework of Industrial standards.

• Test software development along with hardware design of manufacturing test systems for

calibration & functional testing of electronic devices and opto-mechanical electronic products.

Such products include specialty printers, mobile computers, laser & imaging scanning products.

• Document test solutions, drawings, schematics and specifications as per departmental practices.

• Perform Measurement validation and acceptance criteria using Measurement System Analysis

(MSA) tools to validate the designed test system (Cpk, GR&R).

• Support product testing during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase as well as sustaining

support.

• Lead in Benchmarking test solutions to latest technologies and trends in manufacturing

environment with the goal to improve product quality, line efficiencies and throughput within LSS

and I4.0 Framework

• Makes changes to or upgrades existing systems. Enhances and improves existing technologies to

apply to new solutions seeking new tools to analyze and solve problems.

• Be able to echange ideas and articulate designs for test systems with peers and others in solution

architectiure

Qualifications


• Minimum Education:

    o Bachelors Degree in Engineering(Electronics/Computer Sc./Physics) or Major in Physics

• Minimum Work Experience (years):

    o 8 +Yrs.

• Key Skills and Competencies:

    o Expert in (5+ yrs.) Python scripting, Labview, C++

    o Minimum 2 yrs of experience in use of Data analytics tools and development – Power BI/Looker

    o Expert in Technical analysis with problem-solving capability associated with the manufacturing or functionality of electronic systems

• Licenses/Certifications, special qualifications:

    o S/W development - training certifications

• Equivalencies:

    o 5 yrs experience in S/w coding

Position Specific Information:

• Travel Requirements (as a % of time): 15-25%

• Able to telework? Yes/no – if yes, % of time and expectations while teleworking: Yes. 30% -

40%Remote operation and provindig support.
