Job Overview

We are seeking an
L2/L3 Production Support Engineer
with experience in
Front-Office Trading, Order Management Systems (OMS), FIX Connectivity, and Trade Settlement
.

The role involves
supporting mission-critical applications
for real-time trading and
enhancing production stability through automation and DevOps
best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Front-Office Trading & OMS Support:

• Provide
  L2/L3 production support
  for
  Front-Office trading applications
  , including
  OMS, FIX Connectivity, and Market Data Feeds
  .
• Support
  equities, derivatives, and algorithmic trading
  platforms in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage
  FIX sessions, order routing issues, latency monitoring, and market connectivity troubleshooting
  .
• Work closely with
  traders, quants, and sales teams
  to resolve trading desk issues in real-time.

Incident & Problem Management:

• Analyze and resolve
  critical trading incidents
  , ensuring minimal impact on execution.
• Perform
  Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  and
  problem management
  to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain high availability of trading platforms and
  proactively monitor trade flow
  .
• Use
  ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy
  for incident tracking, reporting, and SLA adherence.

Trade Lifecycle & Post-Trade Support:

• Manage
  trade settlement workflows, clearing & reconciliation processes
  .
• Investigate
  STP breaks, order mismatches, and regulatory compliance issues
  .
• Collaborate with
  exchange/regulators, clearing houses, and third-party vendors
  for seamless trading operations.

Application Monitoring & DevOps Integration:

• Utilize
  Geneos, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
  for real-time monitoring and
  alerting
  .
• Work in
  Linux environments
  , analyzing logs and
  executing shell scripts
  for automation.
• Deploy
  OMS applications via CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitLab)
  and support post-release validation.

Change Management & Automation:

• Handle
  production releases, patching, and environment stability improvements
  .
• Develop
  automation scripts (Shell, Python, Ansible)
  to optimize support workflows.
• Support
  BCP-DR planning, regulatory inspections, and market rehearsals
  .

Required Skills & Experience

5
+ years of Production Support experience in Front-Office Trading / Investment Banking
.

Expertise in
OMS, FIX Protocol, Market Data, Trade Execution, and Post-Trade Settlement
.

Strong knowledge of
Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL processes)
.

Hands-on experience with
SQL (UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE) for data correction & troubleshooting
.

Linux expertise
for
log analysis, script execution, and performance tuning
.

Familiarity with
Geneos, Autosys, Control-M, Crontab
for application monitoring & scheduling.

Experience working with
ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy
for ticketing & SLA compliance.

Nice to Have

Experience with
Algo Trading Systems & Market Data Feeds
.

Knowledge of
Cloud (AWS/Azure), DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker
for infrastructure automation.

Understanding of
Financial Regulations (MiFID, Dodd-Frank, Basel III, etc.)
.
