Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated
QA Engineer (Playwright + JavaScript)
who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will assist in designing and executing test cases, develop automation scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software reliability and performance. This position is ideal for individuals with intermediate JavaScript skills, hands-on Playwright experience, and a passion for continuous learning in the testing domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of test cases and automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to understand requirements and contribute to test planning and strategy.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure quality and performance.
  • Learn and contribute to maintaining the test automation framework and reusable components.
  • Document test cases, execution results, and bugs in a structured and clear manner.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new testing tools and technologies.
  • Intermediate proficiency in JavaScript, with hands-on experience in Playwright.
  • Familiarity with other automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Exposure to tools like Jira, Zephyr, or similar bug/test management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Communications.
  • Completion of all mandatory trainings.
  • Ability to learn any new technology/platform/tools within the project.
  • Must have completed ISTQB Level 1 certification or at least one relevant certification.
  • Present Lesson Learned activities after each sprint.
  • Active participation in project calls, organizational discussions, etc.
  • Maintain and update time sheets with 100% accuracy.
  • Participate in team-building activities.
  • Contribute to office cultural activities.
