Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development : Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and scenarios using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript for web applications.

- Framework Creation : Establish and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks from scratch or by extending existing ones.

- Integration : Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions to support continuous testing and deployment.

- Execution and Analysis : Plan, execute, and monitor automated test suites, analyze results, and report on test coverage and quality metrics.

- Maintenance and Debugging : Proactively maintain and update existing test scripts and frameworks. Utilize strong debugging skills to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex test failures and environmental issues.

- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers in a cross-functional Agile environment to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

- Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on automation best practices, tools, and techniques.

- Process Improvement : Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance with a primary focus on automation testing.

- Technical Proficiency : Expert-level proficiency in test automation using Playwright for end-to-end, functional, and API testing.

- Programming Skills : Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Framework Expertise : Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust and reusable automation frameworks.

- CI/CD : Hands-on experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.

- Debugging : Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to efficiently isolate and resolve complex technical issues.

- Methodology : Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, Agile development principles, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired Skills (Bonus Points) :

- Experience with other automation tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver.

- Experience with performance testing, security testing, or mobile application testing.

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
