Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Bangalore (On-site)

Contract Duration: 6 months

About the Role:

As a Sr. QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of enterprise SaaS applications through robust test planning, automation, and collaboration with agile development teams. You'll lead testing efforts, manage CI/CD environments, and contribute to cloud promotion activities, while proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and test environments.
  • Conduct promotion testing and cloud deployment validations.
  • Monitor automation results and escalate issues proactively.
  • Create and execute test plans for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Log and track defects with detailed reproducibility.
  • Collaborate with Scrum teams to evaluate test coverage and release readiness.
  • Own QA efforts for assigned product modules.
  • Perform requirements analysis and ensure traceability.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4–6 years of QA experience in enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in Selenium, Protractor, JBehave.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with cloud testing, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
  • Familiarity with AI automation tools like Copilot.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing.
  • Agile/Scrum methodology understanding.
  • Proficient in software testing techniques.

Desirable Skills

  • BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
  • API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
  • Experience with Documentum or similar CM tools.
  • ETL and data migration testing.
  • DevOps environment experience.
