Role & responsibilities

  • Support in implementing PR strategies in line with the overall Marketing & Communication and organization objective
  • Manage corporate messaging, media relations across sectors and identify media opportunities
  • Collating and analyzing media coverages and generate reports on a regular basis
  • Coordinate with PR agency in successful implementation of the program
  • Drive visibility for members of the India Leadership Team of Capgemini in various India/global level events.
  • Maintain quarter-wise trackers of events/awards across business domains and other functional areas like D&I/HR/CSR/Sustainability/L&D etc.
  • To manage the Industry Relations functions in the organization and build strong association with the industry bodies aligned to organizations strategy
  • To effectively interface with industry bodies like NASSCOM, CII etc. and initiate talks for workshops, round table, event/conferences/awards participation etc.
  • Work closely with industry bodies to create key influencer roles for key leadership of Capgemini in India with industry bodies.
  • Drive all documentation and submission of relevant forms/award applications of various departments to the industry body.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Sound understanding of the media landscape
  • Strong relationships with IT media
  • Ability to develop content
  • Understanding of PR monitoring and measurement
  • Knowledge of the new media industry
  • Understanding of the larger external ecosystem for brand positioning
  • Excellent written and spoken English
