Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to lead our service team and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of restaurant operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations and service staff.
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback effectively, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in table allocation, order taking, and coordination between kitchen and service staff.
  • Train and guide new team members in service standards and etiquette.
  • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and overall restaurant presentation.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ensuring proper stock levels of service items.
  • Ensure smooth execution of special events, group bookings, and VIP service.
  • Work closely with management to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or Senior Steward in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of food & beverage service standards and menu items.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well-groomed and presentable with a professional attitude.
  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field (preferred).
