Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to lead our service team and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of restaurant operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations and service staff.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback effectively, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Assist in table allocation, order taking, and coordination between kitchen and service staff.
- Train and guide new team members in service standards and etiquette.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and overall restaurant presentation.
- Assist in managing inventory and ensuring proper stock levels of service items.
- Ensure smooth execution of special events, group bookings, and VIP service.
- Work closely with management to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or Senior Steward in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound knowledge of food & beverage service standards and menu items.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-groomed and presentable with a professional attitude.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field (preferred).
