About the role: We are hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Associate / Assistant Manager to join our Finance team in Gurgaon. You will play a key role in driving financial accuracy, managing statutory compliance, supporting audit processes, and enabling cross-functional financial visibility in a fast-scaling SaaS business. This is a hands-on role requiring ownership across core financial operations, taxation, monthly closures, revenue recognition, investor reporting, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities
 1. Financial Reporting & Month-End Close 
• Lead monthly financial closure with accurate booking of accruals, depreciation, prepaids, and provisions 
• Prepare and maintain financial statements – P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow 
• Perform ledger scrutiny, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules  2. Revenue Recognition & SaaS Accounting 
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition as per SaaS models (subscriptions, deferred revenue) 
• Coordinate with Sales, Tech, and Operations teams to verify invoicing, collections, and contract adherence  3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance 
• Handle GST compliance: filing of GSTR-1, 3B, and reconciliation with 2B 
• Manage TDS, tax return filing, and tax audit-related activities 
• Ensure timely vendor payments and documentation for tax compliance  4. Audit, Banking & Controls  
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, prepare audit schedules and resolve queries  
• Maintain documentation and support implementation of process-level financial controls  
• Manage banking operations, vendor payments, and liaise with banks for account and relationship management 5. MIS, Variance & Investor Reporting  
• Prepare monthly MIS, including P&L variance analysis, department-level spends, and cash flow  
• Support investor and board-level reporting with structured financial data and commentary 
• Track and report key business and financial KPIs  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, HR, Legal, Product, and Operations 
• Support data and finance inputs for budgeting, contract validation, and operational cost tracking Requirements 
Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience in a finance or controllership role
• Strong working knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, and financial closing 
• Experience in a SaaS or tech-enabled business is preferred
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or any ERP 
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines, and strong communication skills Educational Qualifications 
• Mandatory: B. Com 
• Preferred: MBA in Finance or CA Inter (IPCC)
