We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate/Analyst to join our Business Controls team. In this junior role, you will support the maintenance and implementation of internal controls across various business functions, helping to identify risks and suggest improvements under guidance from senior team members.

Your Day To Day

  • -Assist in updating risk and control documentation for key business processes.
  • Support control testing and associated documentation to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with departments like Finance, IT and HR to understand their processes and help design or improve controls.
  • Help identify issues or control weaknesses and suggest corrective actions with support from senior staff.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of control activities to share with managers and auditors.
  • Participate in training sessions to increase awareness of controls and compliance best practices.
  • Keep yourself informed about relevant regulations and industry standards affecting controls.
  • Support tracking and follow-up on remediation activities for control issues.

Highly Desirable

  • Basic understanding of internal controls, auditing or financial processes gained through education or internships.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to explain ideas clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A detail-minded approach and eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Team player who is motivated to support the team's success.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields.
  • Some familiarity with process mapping or risk assessment concepts.
  • Interest in professional certifications like CPA, ACCA or CIA is a plus.
