Sales Executive- Retail Sales

Role & responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales plans to achieve company targets.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, dealers, and distributors to expand market reach.
- Set and monitor sales targets for channel partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners to ensure sustained growth.
- Provide training, product knowledge, and sales support to channel partners for better performance.
- Collaborate with partners to execute joint business plans and promotional campaigns.
- Track and analyze sales performance, market penetration, and profitability across channels.
- Manage and optimize incentive programs, rebates, and partner engagement activities.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to develop sales tools and go-to-market strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a consistent partner experience.
- Report regularly on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Gather and share market insights and competitor intelligence to support strategic decisions.
Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate / MBA in Sales or Marketing
- 26 years of experience in Channel or Retail Sales
- Proven track record in dealer / distributor management and target achievement
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in MS Office / CRM tools for reporting and tracking
- Experience in Building Materials, Hardware, or Consumer Durables preferred
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of independent work
- Willing to travel extensively within assigned territory
