Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, dealers, and distributors to expand market reach.
  • Set and monitor sales targets for channel partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners to ensure sustained growth.
  • Provide training, product knowledge, and sales support to channel partners for better performance.
  • Collaborate with partners to execute joint business plans and promotional campaigns.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, market penetration, and profitability across channels.
  • Manage and optimize incentive programs, rebates, and partner engagement activities.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product teams to develop sales tools and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a consistent partner experience.
  • Report regularly on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Gather and share market insights and competitor intelligence to support strategic decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate / MBA in Sales or Marketing
  • 26 years of experience in Channel or Retail Sales
  • Proven track record in dealer / distributor management and target achievement
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in MS Office / CRM tools for reporting and tracking
  • Experience in Building Materials, Hardware, or Consumer Durables preferred
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of independent work
  • Willing to travel extensively within assigned territory
