The Structure Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all structural construction activities at the site. The role involves managing manpower, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely completion of structural works as per drawings and specifications.

1. Site Supervision & Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day structural work at the construction site.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out as per approved drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Monitor concreting, reinforcement, shuttering, formwork, and masonry works.

2. Manpower Management

  • Allocate work to skilled and unskilled laborers effectively.
  • Supervise contractor teams and ensure optimum productivity.
  • Maintain attendance and daily work progress reports.

3. Quality Control

  • Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet required quality standards.
  • Check reinforcement placements, shuttering alignment, and concrete mix.
  • Coordinate with engineers for inspections and approvals.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards on site.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks and hazard identification.
  • Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safety regulations.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Contractors.
  • Provide daily progress updates and highlight issues or delays.
  • Assist in material planning and monitoring consumption.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of structural work (RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting).
  • Ability to read and understand working drawings and structural details.
  • Excellent leadership and team-handling skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural construction (real estate/high-rise preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in shuttering, bar bending, and concreting supervision.
