Our flagship product, COMSOL Multiphysics, is the premier modeling tool for simulating technical applications in almost all engineering industries and scientific disciplines.COMSOL is seeking a motivated and versatile HR Generalist to support our growing team. This role is crucial for managing day-to-day HR operations and ensuring smooth execution of all people processes. The ideal candidate will be a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, passionate about fostering a positive work environment, and knowledgeable about HR best practices and employment laws.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and grievances, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace.
  • HR Operations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Generate routine reports for management and compliance purposes.
  • Compensation & Benefits Support: Assist with benefits administration, including health insurance enrollment, leave management, and supporting management by providing necessary data.
  • Performance Management: Support performance appraisal cycles, collecting feedback, and documenting performance plans.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure all HR activities and policies adhere to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in developing and updating the employee handbook and internal policies.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an HR role, preferably in a generalist or all-round capacity.
  • Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of HR principles, processes, and general employment laws/regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Zoho, Workday, ADP, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
