Job Description
The Data Management Services (DMS) Specialist is responsible for retrieving performance metrics from various digital streaming report dashboards and then ingesting the data into the internal management software (Revedia Digital). The DMS Specialist is also responsible for handling exceptions that result from the data ingestion including title mapping, channel mapping, processing of new titles/channels, and configuration updates. The ideal candidate should have impeccable communication skills both spoken and written and be a curious problem solver.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ingest and/or manually process and reconcile performance metrics data at the title level within internal management software (Revedia Digital) with limited supervision.
- Upload and/or manually process and reconcile payments and subscriber remittances within internal accounting package (Revedia Revenue Management) with limited supervision.
- Recognize and correct data discrepancies.
- Identify and communicate to the team all issues both with the data ingested and the data output from Revedia Digital.
- Assure 24-hour processing requirements, per contractual obligation to customers.
- Communicate regarding missing data, login issues, new metrics, new Channels and / or Titles, missing payments and subscriber remittance information.
- Communicate user issues with Revedia Digital and work closely with Support and Engineering to resolve.
- Send daily updates outlining work completed and/or any issues that were prohibitive to processing all retrieved reports.
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in relevant field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly developed analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to think critically and practically to resolve issues.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency including strong spreadsheet skills with the ability to manipulate Excel worksheets, use formulas/functions, and extract data in a timely and efficient manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A college degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
