The Opportunity:

This role will be a full-time position based out of our Pune & Coimbatore office. Data Scientist is responsible for leveraging advanced analytics to drive business solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, curiosity, and a keen understanding of how strategic data analysis impacts pricing outcomes.

What were looking for

• Education: bachelors or masters degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, capable of explaining complex analytical concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team.

Data Analysis:

• Lead the sourcing and management of datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Conduct high-level exploratory and predictive analysis to identify key trends and opportunities.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes tailored for scalability and repeat use.

Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling:

• Develop sophisticated predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Continuously evaluate and refine models based on performance metrics and business impact.
• Implement advanced modeling techniques for complex problems including time series forecasting and optimization algorithms.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Engage with business stakeholders to define and refine analytics objectives.
• Translate technical findings into actionable business initiatives and effectively communicate them through compelling presentations and interactive dashboards.
• Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation in analytics methodologies and tools.

Tool and Technology Utilization:

• Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with Scala or Java is a plus.
• Utilize and adapt to various frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn for specific project needs.
• Advanced proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI to drive the creation of impactful visual insights.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay at the forefront of data science technology and trends to continually bring innovative solutions into the business.
• Lead and mentor junior data scientists and analysts within the team.
• Drive initiatives to refine and enhance analytical workflows and processes.
