Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and commercially astute Senior Vice President – Global Business to architect and lead our international growth strategy across multiple FMCG categories. This role is designed for a bold, strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of business expansion, brand excellence, and operational execution.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) markets and the agility to navigate both emerging and mature economies. You will oversee end-to-end business operations—from strategy and sales to brand, supply chain, and partnerships—ensuring consistent growth, profitability, and global market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Global Business Leadership

• Define and execute a global growth roadmap aligned with the company's vision and long-term business goals.
• Own P&L accountability across regions, driving profitable and sustainable growth.
• Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand international market share.
• Ensure seamless integration across sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations for brand and business consistency.

IMEA Market Development

• Leverage deep IMEA expertise to unlock new growth opportunities and expand market presence.
• Develop tailored market entry, pricing, and channel strategies to meet regional consumer preferences.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with regulators, trade partners, and key distributors to solidify brand presence.

Strategic Growth & Partnerships

• Identify and drive strategic alliances, joint ventures, and partnerships for accelerated expansion.
• Lead M&A opportunities—from evaluation to post-merger integration.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with global retailers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.

Brand & Consumer Strategy

• Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver consumer-first brand strategies and impactful campaigns.
• Oversee portfolio management and product innovation to stay ahead of market trends.
• Accelerate digital transformation and e-commerce growth across key categories.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead and inspire a multicultural global team across markets and functions.
• Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans for critical roles.
• Foster a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

Business Insights & Innovation

• Translate consumer, trade, and competitive insights into actionable business strategies.
• Champion data-driven decision-making and digital sales enablement initiatives.
• Anticipate market disruptions and innovate in distribution, packaging, and consumer engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15–20 years of progressive leadership experience in FMCG or consumer goods, with at least 8+ years in senior global or regional roles.
• Proven success in scaling FMCG businesses across India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA).
• Strong track record of P&L management, brand growth, and market expansion.
• Deep experience across modern trade, traditional trade, and e-commerce.
• Demonstrated success in building partnerships and executing market entry strategies.
• MBA or advanced degree in Business, Strategy, or Marketing preferred.
