Location - Mumbai

Mandatory Requirement:

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with
    RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory requirements
    applicable to NBFC operations.
  • Oversee regulatory filings, inspections, and ensure timely submissions.
  • Draft, review, and update compliance policies, frameworks, and SOPs.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and ensure robust monitoring mechanisms.
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
  • Provide regular training and guidance to business teams on regulatory developments.
  • Support the Group Compliance Head in designing and implementing compliance strategy and governance initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess regulatory changes, highlighting business impact and necessary actions.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Experience:
    12–15 years of proven experience in compliance within the
    NBFC sector
    .
  • Education:
    Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, Finance, Commerce, or related field. Professional certifications (CS/CA/CFA/compliance certifications) will be an advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of
    RBI regulations, NBFC compliance frameworks, governance standards, and reporting requirements
    .
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • High ethical standards, detail orientation, and ability to manage complex compliance issues.
