Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Operations

  • Manage the full AR cycle including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation. Invoicing will not be feasible || Cash Application is not clear
  • Monitor and analyze AR aging reports, ensuring timely follow-ups on overdue accounts. Do we define how ?
  • Handle customer queries and disputes, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining strong client relationships. Good to have this skill however impractical to make meaningful client relationships sheer volumes, geographic spread, languages, existing relationship with current team
  • Process Optimization
  • Identify and implement improvements in AR processes to enhance eciency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Customer Service) to streamline the O2C process.
  • Leverage automation tools and ERP systems (e.g., Zoho Books, Quickbooks, Xero or D365 ) to improve accuracy and turnaround time.
  • Reporting & Compliance  What is compliance part in this role ?
  • Prepare and present AR performance reports and dashboards to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reconciliations.
  • Month-End & Year-End Activities
  • Assist in month-end closing by ensuring all AR transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure proper revenue recognition.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

  • CA Inter or ICWA (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or O2C processes.

  • Proven experience with ERP systems like SAP, Zoho Books, or Oracle.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and financial compliance.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
