Role Overview
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving business growth in the New Delhi region through marketing, lead generation, technical demonstrations, and solution-based selling. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven sales experience to effectively position our high-technology NDT products. The engineer is also expected to travel extensively across the Delhi NCR area to meet customers and support business growth.
D) Job Profile:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the assigned region.
- Generate new leads, build strong customer relationships, and expand the customer base.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for potential clients.
- Identify customer requirements and provide appropriate NDT solutions (Eddy Current Testing, Hardness Testing, handheld and automated systems).
- Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry to order closure.
- Maintain regular customer visits and provide pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Collaborate with internal technical and application teams to address customer queries.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide inputs for business development.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and documentation.
E) Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in high-technology or capital equipment industries.
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand and explain engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
