Role Overview We are seeking an experienced STEM Lead to drive our educational initiatives and shape the future of STEM education in India. This role combines educational leadership, program development, and strategic planning to scale Aavishkaar's impact across the country. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute the strategic vision for Aavishkaar's STEM education programs - Lead the design and implementation of innovative STEM curricula and teaching methodologies - Establish partnerships with educational institutions and government bodies to expand our reach - Drive research and documentation of best practices in STEM education Program Management - Lead multiple teams of STEM Associates and coordinate across different program verticals - Oversee the development and delivery of teacher training programs - Design monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure program impact - Manage program budgets and resource allocation Content Development & Quality Assurance - Guide the creation of high -quality STEM content aligned with national curriculum standards - Establish quality benchmarks for all educational content and training materials - Lead the development of assessment tools and methodologies - Oversee the documentation and standardization of Aavishkaar's best practices Team Leadership - Mentor and develop a team of STEM Leads and Associates - Build and nurture a culture of innovation and continuous learning - Conduct performance evaluations and provide growth opportunities for team members - Lead recruitment and training of new STEM team members Requirements Education & Experience - Master's degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or related field - Minimum 4 -5 years of experience in education sector, with at least 2 years in managing people - Proven track record of developing and scaling educational programs - Experience in teacher training and professional development Skills & Competencies - Strong understanding of pedagogical approaches and learning theories - Excellent project management and team leadership abilities - Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships - Advanced proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design - Strong analytical and research skills - Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and educational technology tools Personal Qualities - Passionate about transforming education in India - Strategic thinker with strong problem -solving abilities - Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in ambiguous environments - Collaborative leader with excellent interpersonal skills - Commitment to continuous learning and professional growthBenefits Professional Benefits - Competitive compensation of INR 60, ,000 per month (based on experience) - Leadership role in shaping STEM education across India - Opportunity to build and scale innovative educational programs - Professional development and learning opportunities - Work with a passionate team of educators and innovators Lifestyle Benefits - Food and accommodation in our mountain campus - Coverage of work -related travel and expenses - Access to well -equipped STEM labs and learning resources - Extensive library with curated educational resources - Peaceful work environment in a scenic mountain location
