Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Project Head to lead the end-to-end execution of high-impact semiconductor projects—spanning from strategic planning and vendor onboarding to operational setup and customer acquisition. This role demands a business-oriented leader who can translate technical requirements into executable plans, build cross-functional teams, drive vendor partnerships, and establish a robust client base.

You will be responsible for developing the business plan, assembling a core execution team, sourcing partners, and building go-to-market strategies for fab setups, equipment installations, or production lines in the semiconductor space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Planning


•  Develop detailed business plans for semiconductor projects, aligned with company vision and market opportunities.


•  Identify potential business models (e.g., fabless, foundry, OSAT) and recommend go-forward strategy.


•  Conduct feasibility analysis and ROI projections for greenfield or brownfield projects.

2. Vendor & Technology Partner Identification


•  Identify and evaluate global technology vendors, OEMs, and tool suppliers.


•  Lead negotiations and finalize vendor contracts for equipment, tools, and turnkey services.


•  Build and maintain vendor partnerships critical to process setup.

3. Team Building & Sourcing


•  Build a high-performance, multi-disciplinary project team (engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and sales).


•  Define project scope, resource needs, and execution timelines.


•  Lead recruitment of key personnel and consultants to meet project and operational goals.

4. Execution, Operations & Customer Development


•  Oversee all phases of execution: facility development, equipment setup, and production readiness.


•  Drive GTM strategy: develop customer pipeline, build early partnerships, and support initial sales cycles.


•  Work closely with sales & marketing teams to build long-term customer relationships.

Additional Responsibilities:


•  Maintain project governance, risk management, and reporting structures.


•  Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and environmental standards (SEMI, ISO, EHS).


•  Provide technical oversight on semiconductor processes (packaging, testing, etc.).

Qualifications:

Education:


•  B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.


•  MBA or PMP Certification preferred.

Experience:


•  12+ years in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.


•  8+ years of experience leading complex projects (fab construction, tool installation, production ramp-up).


•  Proven experience building teams, sourcing vendors, and launching new facilities or product lines.

Technical & Leadership Skills:


•  Deep knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, equipment, and global vendor ecosystems.


•  Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and business execution capability.


•  Hands-on experience with tools like MS Project, Primavera, or other PM software.

Preferred Profile:


•  Experience in fab setup or expansion, OSAT operations, or MEMS development.


•  Familiarity with advanced nodes (5nm/7nm), advanced packaging, or test processes.


•  Exposure to international project execution and supply chain management.

Compensation:

₹20 LPA – ₹25 LPA (negotiable for the right candidate)
