Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro radiologist Annotator to join our team. This role involves detailed analysis and annotation of neuroimaging data to support clinical research, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging, neuroanatomy, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Experience in neuroradiology, clinical research, and various medical specialties is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge neuroimaging projects within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately review and annotate neuroimaging studies including CT, MRI, and other diagnostic radiology images.
  • Utilize EHR and EMR systems such as Epic to document findings and annotations systematically.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, radiologists, and clinical researchers to ensure precise data interpretation.
  • Apply knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathology to identify abnormalities or regions of interest within imaging datasets.
  • Maintain meticulous records of annotations adhering to HIPAA standards and institutional protocols.
  • Assist in the development of annotation protocols and participate in quality assurance processes for imaging data.
  • Support clinical research initiatives by providing detailed image analysis that contributes to ongoing studies in neurology, neurocritical care, or related fields.

Experience

  • Prior experience with diagnostic radiology or neuroradiology is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiography.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems like Epic or similar platforms for documentation purposes.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to neurology, psychiatry, cardiology, endocrinology, and other specialties listed is advantageous.
  • Experience working within inpatient or outpatient settings, including hospital medicine or critical care environments.
  • Background in clinical research or participation in neuroimaging projects is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy in medical data annotation for advancing neurological care and research initiatives.
