The Content team at Honasa (parent company of Mamaearth), is looking for a short-form Video Editor/ Videographer, to create videos for the parent brand and for founders. These include founder-led content reels on Instagram, motion graphics videos for Honasa's socials, and any other creative pieces that might be needed for both the founders' personal branding and for the parent company's digital presence.. This role is responsible for ideating, shooting and editing video content with a focus on engagement and views, while always keeping the brand language intact. The right candidate will have a great understanding of what content to present as personal branding and reputation strategist and how to stand out from the crowd. You'll come up with new ideas, stay on top of viral social media trends, and improve on what we've already built.

Responsibilities

Editing -

  • Edit videos for founders' and for Honasa's socials, with our brand voice always at the forefront.
  • Stay up to date on evolving features, trends, in terms of digital video content, especially on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Be excellent at technical video editing skills - from splicing to sound balancing, color correction and color grading
  • Excellent mastery over creating graphics, digitally improving picture quality, and improving supers.
  • Should work well with a small and cross-functioning teams

Videography -

  • Shoot high-quality video for founders' and for Honasa's socials.
  • Proficiency in camera operation and lighting techniques. Able to command shoots involving the founders.
  • An added plus is experience with storyboarding and video production and someone who can pitch in during pre-shoot meetings, on site or set, and in post-production

Technical Specifications -

  • 1-3 years' experience working as Video Editor/ Videographer in the digital arm of a creative agency or with a personal brand
  • Proficient in editing quick videos on edit apps for quick turnaround, and largely at Video Editing Suite, including but not limited to, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop
