Information Security Compliance Specialist

We are currently seeking an Information Security Compliance Specialist, to join our Cybersecurity team based in Noida.

About the opportunity we offer:

• Continuous Control Evaluation: Conduct ongoing, rigorous evaluation and testing of implemented security controls to ensure adherence to our internal control framework and policies.
• Security Control Design Support: Act as a key resource for the First Line of Defense (e.g., Operations, Architecture, Engineering teams) by providing guidance, clarification on ownership, and establishing appropriate governance during the design and implementation of new or updated security controls.
• Maturity Measurement and Reporting: Measure and assess the maturity level of the security posture against leading international standards and frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001 and CIS Critical Security Controls (CIS Controls).
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive, clear, and action-oriented quarterly reports to top management detailing the current security maturity, compliance status, identified gaps, and recommended remediation plans.

About you:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Certifications: 

At least one of the following core certifications is required (Mandatory/Highly Preferred):

• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

       Highly Preferred (or required within 12 months)

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification.
• Relevant cloud security certification (e.g., CCSK, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security Specialist).

Experience:

Mid-Senior Level: 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Information Security, GRC role, with a strong focus on control assessment, security framework implementation, and compliance reporting.

Technical Skills:

• Security Standards and Frameworks Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency and practical experience with major information security standards and best practices, including ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls (CIS Controls), and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF).
• Understanding of cyber risk: A strong understanding and proven familiarity with methodologies for assessing information and security risks across diverse IT environments, specifically impacting: Network infrastructure (on-premise and hybrid), Endpoint devices (workstations, mobile), Cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Security Solutions and Technologies: Good foundational understanding and familiarity with the most common security solutions and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, DLP, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), IAM solutions, Vulnerability Scanners).
• Core IT/Networking/Digital Concepts: Good working knowledge of fundamental concepts related to general IT operations, network architecture and modern digital/cloud computing environments.
