Senior/Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Azure DevOps + Python)

What You Will Do

  • Architect
    resilient, cost-efficient, and observable infrastructure on Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Lead
    platform-wide monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding strategy (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
  • Drive
    incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews at the org level.
  • Guide
    DevSecOps strategy, enabling secure automation, compliance, and governance across engineering teams.
  • Implement FinOps
    by optimizing Azure cloud spend, enforcing tagging, and forecasting usage.
  • Collaborate
    with global stakeholders to define and document best practices, standards, and policies for cloud operations.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years
    of professional experience in infrastructure automation, SRE, or platform engineering.
  • Expertise in
    IaC tools
    : Terraform, Helm, Ansible.
  • Strong experience with
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub) and
    containerization
    (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Deep knowledge of
    observability tooling
    : Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack.
  • Hands-on exposure to
    FinOps practices
    and regulatory compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST
  • Solid programming experience in
    Python
    for automation and tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven
    technical leadership
    to mentor engineers and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong ability to communicate with global stakeholders and drive alignment on platform standards.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (Healthcare/MedTech/Financial services is a plus).
