Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Test Consultant – SAP S/4HANA RAR
with strong functional understanding FICO. The consultant will play a key role in validating end-to-end business flows, data integrity, and cross-system integrations across SAP S/4HANA and connected platforms (such as Salesforce and other downstream systems).

The focus of this role is on business process understanding, test design, and functional validation — ensuring that SAP solutions meet business requirements and deliver seamless integration across sales, procurement, and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and validate end-to-end business processes across Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles.
  • Design, document, and execute test cases for SAP S/4HANA modules — including Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.
  • Validate integration flows between SD, MM, and FI modules and ensure data consistency across the process chain.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and integration teams to ensure comprehensive testing across SAP and interfaced systems (e.g., Salesforce, Finance, and Logistics).
  • Test Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) configurations and flows — covering contract identification, performance obligation management, event processing, and revenue recognition.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data, executing test cases, and validating critical business scenarios with users.
  • Identify, log, and manage defects in Jira (or similar tools), track their lifecycle, and support timely resolution.
  • Verify data synchronization and master data consistency between SAP modules and connected applications.
  • Provide feedback and collaborate with automation teams on potential areas for test optimization or automation within the in-house framework.
  • Prepare and share test reports, defect summaries, and coverage metrics to ensure transparency in test progress and quality outcomes.

Required Skills & Expertise- Revenue Accounting (RAR):

  • Contract identification, performance obligations, and event-based processing
  • Integration with SD billing and FI postings

  • Revenue recognition testing and reporting validation

  • Experience with tax configuration and validation (indirect tax, withholding tax, etc.) is desirable.

  • Strong understanding of financial postings, integration logic, and reconciliation between modules.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail.

  • Added Advantage:

  • Experience testing Salesforce–SAP integrations (Sales Order, Pricing, or Customer Master sync).

  • Exposure to test automation frameworks for SAP validation.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
