SAP FSCM / RAR / FI Solution Architect

Location: Bengaluru, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FSCM / RAR / FI Solution Architect responsible for driving the solution design, delivery, and governance of SAP Financial Supply Chain Management, Revenue Accounting & Reporting, and core FI modules. The role demands both deep functional expertise and strong architectural leadership, with 75% focus on Solution & Delivery Ownership and 25% on Practice Development & Presales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Design

• Architect and design end-to-end SAP solutions across FSCM (Credit, Collections, Dispute Management, Treasury), RAR, and FI.
• Provide thought leadership in S/4HANA Finance capabilities, Universal Journal, Account-Based COPA, and integration scenarios.
• Develop solution roadmaps, process flows, design documents, and functional blueprints.

2. Hands-on Delivery Leadership

• Lead workshops, requirement discussions, system demos, and solution walkthroughs with business and IT stakeholders.
• Own functional specification development for WRICEF objects (RICEFW).
• Guide development teams on customizations in FSCM, RAR rules, event-based revenue recognition, and FI enhancements.
• Support end-to-end cycles including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Cutover & Post-Go-Live.

3. FSCM Expertise

• Hands-on experience in:
• Credit Management (BP Credit, FSCM Credit)
• Collections & Dispute Management
• Treasury & Risk Management (Cash Mgmt, Liquidity Planning, Market Risk, Credit Risk)
• In-House Cash
• Cash Application / Lockbox / Bank Communication Management (BCM)
• Ability to integrate banking solutions and external payment providers.

4. SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting)

• Expertise in SAP RAR 1.3+, BRF+, IFRS 15 & ASC 606 processes.
• Configure revenue contracts, performance obligations, event-based RAR processing, and revenue postings.
• Strong skills in integration with SD, Subscription Billing, and Finance.

5. SAP FI Expertise

• Core FI knowledge:
• GL, AP, AR, AA, Taxation, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)
• Closing processes, Payment Programs, Dunning
• Intercompany processes & validations
• Experience in S/4HANA New GL, New Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.

6. Cross-Module & Technical Integration

• Collaborate with functional teams from SD/OTC, MM, PP, EWM, BTP, Analytics, and Middleware systems.
• Work closely with ABAP/BTP teams for enhancements, Fiori apps, CDS Views, and workflows.

7. Governance, Quality & Practice Development

• Ensure adherence to compliance, financial controls, audit requirements, and SAP standards.
• Contribute to practice assets, accelerators, reusable frameworks, and solution templates.
• Support proposal writing, RFP responses, client presentations, and presales cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12–17 years of SAP experience with strong hands-on delivery in FSCM, RAR, and FI.
• Minimum 2–3 end-to-end implementation projects in S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong functional + technical understanding of:
• Credit/Collections/Dispute
• Cash & Liquidity Management
• Treasury & Risk Management
• Payment processing & BCM
• RAR revenue recognition (IFRS 15/ASC 606)
• Bank integrations & interfaces
• Ability to lead large-scale finance transformation programs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certifications in FSCM, RAR, or S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFin) preferred.
• Understanding of SAP BTP, Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business.
• Professional finance qualifications such as CA/CPA/ICWA are a plus.
