Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in the budgeting process and monitor budgetary compliance.
  • Process invoices, payroll, and all other financial transactions in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial accounts and prepare reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to streamline financial systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a relevant financial role, preferably within an educational institution.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices alongside financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
