Position: Food Cart Chef

Location: Sector 20 Gurgaon

Helper: One helper

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Food Cart Chef to manage daily operations of our food cart. The chef will be fully responsible for preparing food, managing the cart, handling customers, and ensuring overall smooth functioning. A helper will be available to assist in basic tasks such as cleaning, preparation, and serving support.

Key Responsibilities:1. Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook all food items as per the menu and quality standards.
  • Maintain consistency, taste, and hygiene while cooking.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all food items.

2. Cart Operations

  • Ensure the cart is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Maintain equipment, utensils, and cooking tools in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety and hygiene protocols.

3. Customer Handling

  • Greet customers politely and take orders accurately.
  • Serve food promptly and ensure good customer experience.
  • Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally.

4. Staff Coordination

  • Supervise and guide the allocated helper in daily tasks.
  • Delegate cleaning, chopping, preparation, and serving support to the helper.

5. Cash & Billing Management

  • Handle daily sales, billing, and cash collection.
  • Maintain transparency, accuracy, and daily reporting.

6. Compliance & Standards

  • Follow FSSAI and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cook/chef (street food, fast food, or similar).
  • Ability to manage a food cart independently.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling practices.
  • Trustworthy, punctual, and responsible.
