Junior Quality Control Officer (FMCG)

Location: Beliaghata

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Reports to: QC Supervisor / QA Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
  • Assist in implementing quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Collect and test product samples to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Record and report non-conformities or deviations to QC Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of inspection results.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, ISO, and other relevant standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laboratory/testing area.
  • Collaborate with production and packaging teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a QC/QA role, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using basic lab equipment (pH meter, moisture analyzer, etc.)
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS).
  • Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance.
