Position Summary

We are looking for a Power Apps Lead Developer to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven experience in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse, with strong technical and leadership capabilities. This role involves leading a small team of developers, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring best practices are followed across Power Platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
  • Guide and mentor developers in Power Platform best practices, governance, and solution architecture.
  • Develop and automate complex business processes using Power Automate and custom connectors.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and other data sources.
  • Implement role-based security, manage permissions, and ensure compliance with organizational governance policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
  • Drive adoption of new Power Platform features and innovations across teams.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution diagrams, and user guides.
  • Partner with leadership to define the Power Platform strategy, roadmap, and best practices for enterprise delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Proven experience leading Power Platform projects or teams.
  • Strong background in Power Apps development (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate workflows.
  • Expertise in integrating APIs and working with REST, JSON, XML, and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of Dataverse, solution architecture, and environment management.
  • Experience implementing security models, role-based access, and data governance in Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-400, PL-600, or equivalent) are a plus.
