Salary: 60,000 70,000 per month, based on experience.

Incentives/Hike: Upto 12%, after one year, based on projects value handled and project performance.

1) Role Summary

The Programme Lead will be responsible for end-to-end planning, supervision, implementation, and documentation of multiple education programmes, as per the defined objectives and formats of these programmes, across themes like:

  • Career Guidance
  • Sports & Fitness
  • Exposure Visits
  • STEM & Model-Making Workshops
  • Teacher Training
  • School Assessments
  • Lecture Series and other Thematic Projects

You will lead the implementation process with the help of 1 Programme Coordinator and be expected to handle projects of a minimum turnover (will be informed at a later stage) ensuring quality execution and timely reporting.

2) Key Responsibilities

A. Programme Planning & Preparation

  • Understand programme objectives, scope of work, and partner
  • expectations
  • Plan sessions, visits, or interventions aligned with timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate availability and engagement of experts/speakers
  • Schedule sessions in consultation with all stakeholders
  • Prepare pre-programme materials: need assessment, session briefs, programme booklets, feedback and assessment forms

B. Team Coordination & Communication

  • Orient new team members and experts/speakers about programme expectations
  • Address expert/speaker requirements and ensure logistical support to them
  • Supervise the Programme Coordinator, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability
  • Maintain internal communication and professionalism

C. Implementation & Field Supervision

  • Ensure smooth implementation as per programme timetable
  • Visit schools to observe and supervise programme execution
  • Troubleshoot logistical, technical, or quality-related challenges
  • Ensure real-time updates (photos, notes, next day planning) are shared with internal teams
  • Ensure that programme objectives are met and that sessions reflect the standards of quality education Gnaan U stands for

D. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Conduct pre/post assessments and collect structured feedback
  • Compile detailed reports including session content, feedback, scores, observations, photographs, and annexures
  • Submit final reports within deadlines, as per formats provided
  • Submit confirmed session records of speakers for accounts processing

E. Responsibility Towards Programme Coordinator

  • Provide daily supervision, task allocation, and ongoing mentoring
  • Ensure their grooming, professionalism, and punctuality
  • Guide them on documentation, communication, and school coordination
  • Support their learning and growth in alignment with Gnaan Us work culture and expectations

3) Team Structure

  • Reports To: Founder, Gnaan U Education
  • Supervises: 1 to 2 Programme Coordinators
  • Responsible for building a positive, professional, and mission-driven team culture

4) Work Environment & Expectations

  • Location: Mumbai-based office (Marol) + school field visits (schools in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Palghar regions)
  • Work Days: Monday to Friday (Full-time); Saturdays as per programme calendar
  • Dress Code: Formal wear

5) Growth Path

6) Who Should Apply

A. Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years full-time experience in the education or development sector
  • Deep commitment and passion towards ensuring meaningful educational opportunities for students
  • Strong written communication in English (reports, proposals, summaries)
  • Confident oral communication to engage with school heads, teachers, speakers, and team members
  • Willingness to travel across schools, including during early morning school hours
  • Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, people, and responsibilities with care

B. Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Work, or related field
  • Experience managing school-based programmes or outreach initiatives
  • Familiarity with AI tools (like ChatGPT) for boosting productivity

C. Software Comfort:

  • Microsoft Word (for formatting and documentation)
  • Microsoft Excel (for data organisation, basic analysis, and record keeping)
  • Advantage if you're comfortable handling numbers, reports, and using digital tools independently
