Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Programmer to lead our team in the development of advanced technical solutions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools like R, Shiny, and SAS, enabling you to effectively mentor junior staff and drive asset teams forward.

  • You will be responsible for leading trial or asset programming teams as the Lead Statistical Programmer, ensuring seamless integration with established timelines and quality standards.
  • Your key tasks will include developing SDTM and ADaM datasets, creating specifications, and executing ad-hoc programming activities based on internal and external requests.
  • You will also contribute to statistical programming initiatives, supporting process improvements, innovation, and expert advice, guidance, and training to trial and asset teams.

Bonus Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate analytical outputs in accordance with the Statistical Analysis Plan.
  • Create datasets for integrated analyses like ISS or ISE.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you must have:

  • A BSc or MSc degree in a numerate discipline, preferably Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • At least 9 years of directly relevant experience in a Statistical Programming role within clinical development at a pharmaceutical or biotech company, or at a CRO.
  • Experience in an international environment is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in R and SAS.
  • Familiarity with CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards, including specifications, Define xml, and reviewers guide.
  • Strong understanding of processes related to clinical development programs.
